Largest Fall in the World: Victoria Falls

Writer: Baris YaziciBaris Yazici

Moonbow & Devils Pool:

Victoria Falls is neither the highest nor the widest, however it is the largest curtain of falling water on the planet. Rainbows can be seen often and on a full moon you can even see 'Moonbow' here. On a full moon light bouncing off the sprays gives life to a moonbow. if you book early enough (months before), it is possible to swim to the very edge of Voctoria Falls in a naturally formed pool. The pool is made by a rock wall that halts the current enough for a swim, it is named 'Devils Pool'.

Victoria Falls is an optimal start or end point for your central Africa trip. There are many activities to do here; water rafting, bungee jumping, helicopter flights. Plan at least 2 days, many of the activities are whole day activities.
